چکیده
Dunaliella salina is currently one of the most commercially valuable microalgae species in world. In reponse to selenite, D. a with high selenium content, thereby increasing its value, which crucial for economic value as nutrional supplement. However, effects selenite on are still unclear, and molecular mechanism response stress also elusive. Here, order study corresponding regulatory mechanism, we characterized physiological phenotypes under different concentrations carried out quantitative proteomic study. The results showed that effective concentration 50% growth inhibition (EC50) algae was 192.7 mg/L after 11 days cultivation. When lower than 100 mg/L, did not hinder early stage, but shortened cell cycle, although significantly inhibited when higher 250 mg/L. Bioaccumulation experiments content intracellular cells reached highest level treatment 50 contents total organic were 499.77 ?g/g 303.01 (dry weight), respectively. Proteomic analysis revealed series proteins related responses, amino acid metabolism energy production pathways profoundly altered by treatment. Glutathione peroxidase (GPX7), selenium-containing protein, identified group given Moreover, involved photoreactions oxidative phosphorylation upregulated, indicating effectively balanced demand stress. This provides novel insights into responses salina, candidate biological carrier would be helpful development industrial strains rich selenium.

Modeling Growth of Microalgae Dunaliella Salina under Different Nutritional Conditions
Problem statement: The aim of this study was to find the empirical model that describes the growth kinetics of Dunaliella salina, with low production cost and to estimate parameters of this model. Approach: In this study the strain of D. salina UTEX 200 was cultivated in seawater (0.5 M NaCl) at room temperature with agitation of 150 rpm and luminous intensity of 60 mmols.m-2.s-1. The synthetic...
متن کاملNew Insight into the Relation between Adiponectin and Diabetes
Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases. Insulin resistance is defined as a state that needs more insulin to get the biological effects achieved by a lower amount of insulin in the normal state. Several molecules which are secreted through adipocytes have been involved in insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Adiponectin as a 244 amino acid protein is exclusively expressed...
متن کاملSequencing and analysis of a genomic fragment provide an insight into the Dunaliella viridis genomic sequence.
Dunaliella is a genus of wall-less unicellular eukaryotic green alga. Its exceptional resistances to salt and various other stresses have made it an ideal model for stress tolerance study. However, very little is known about its genome and genomic sequences. In this study, we sequenced and analyzed a 29,268 bp genomic fragment from Dunaliella viridis. The fragment showed low sequence homology t...
